1. Who you are agreeing with

These terms are between you and marangonijunior Limited ("we", "us", "knownly"), a private company limited by shares registered in England and Wales under company number 16641108. The service is available at knownly.app and any related URLs operated by marangonijunior Limited.

By using knownly — taking the assessment, viewing a report, creating an account, or buying a paid report — you agree to these terms.

If you do not agree, please don't use the service. If you have questions before agreeing, write to contact@marangonijunior.co.uk.

2. Who can use knownly

knownly is for users aged 16 and over. By using the service you confirm you are 16 or older. If you create an account, the magic-link signup includes an age-gate checkbox.

3. What knownly does, and what it doesn't

knownly is a tool for self-reflection. It produces a report describing your behavioural tendencies using the DISC framework, illustrated by biblical figures whose lives show similar patterns.

It is not:

4. Free vs paid

The 40-question assessment and the free preview report are free for everyone, with no account required.

The full report is a paid product. Prices and current product details are shown at checkout. All prices are in GBP unless stated otherwise and include UK VAT where applicable.

Couple and family reports require all participants to take the assessment; the joint dynamics content is generated once everyone has joined.

5. Refunds

We're a small operation; we'd rather you be happy than hold £1.99 you regret. If a paid report wasn't what you expected, write to contact@marangonijunior.co.uk within 30 days of purchase and we'll refund you, no questions asked, while leaving your access to the report itself untouched.

We cannot refund:

Refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe and typically arrive within 5–10 business days.

6. AI-generated content

Some of the report content (sections 11 and 12) is generated by an AI model (Anthropic Claude) personalised to your DISC blend. We label these sections clearly. AI-generated content is provided as is, may contain factual errors or imperfect phrasing, and should be read as a starting point rather than authoritative spiritual direction. If something doesn't sit right with you theologically, please bring it to your pastor, spouse, or trusted friend. We welcome feedback on AI output via the feedback form.

You may request a regeneration of your AI content from your report page, subject to rate limits.

7. Your content

Anything you submit — assessment answers, display name, feedback — remains yours. By submitting it, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use it to operate the service (e.g. to generate your report, send your receipts, fulfil your right of export). Approved feedback you mark as displayable may be published on the landing page or About page; you can withdraw display consent at any time.

You may not scrape, reverse-engineer, or systematically copy the report content, persona documents, blend documents, type sections, or any other static knownly content. That content is © knownly and licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use within your own report.

8. Privacy

We handle your data according to our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

9. Availability

We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. The service is provided as is and as available. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (Vercel, Neon, Stripe, Resend, Anthropic), and unforeseen incidents may interrupt access without notice.

If the AI daily kill-switch fires (we cap our daily spend on AI to keep the service sustainable — see Privacy Policy), your report may temporarily use the generic per-type fallback content rather than personalised AI content. The fallback is clearly labelled and you can return the next day to regenerate the personalised version.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, marangonijunior Limited is not liable for:

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UK or EU law (including liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

Our total liability in any matter is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the relevant claim, or £100, whichever is greater.

11. Termination

You may stop using knownly at any time. You may delete your account at any time via the in-app control or by emailing contact@marangonijunior.co.uk. Deletion is irreversible.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if the service is materially abused, or if we are required to do so by law. Where possible we will tell you first.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising under or relating to them.

13. Changes to these terms

We will update these terms when needed. Material changes will be summarised at the top and, for signed-in users, sent by email. The "last updated" date at the top of this page is always current. Continued use of knownly after a change means you agree to the updated terms.

knownly is a tool for self-reflection. It is not a substitute for prayer, scripture, pastoral counsel, or professional mental health support. DISC is a behavioural framework with limited scientific validation. Biblical figures are used as illustrations of behavioural patterns, not as theological types.
